Ready to make an impact?

FamilyWell's Menopause Behavioral Health Certification equips health coaches, behavioral health providers, and clinicians with the education and evidence-based strategies to support individuals through perimenopause and menopause.

You will learn about the physiological and hormonal changes that occur throughout perimenopause and menopause, the social and behavioral adjustments, the symptoms that result, how to screen for mental health and sleep challenges, and how to apply tools like CBT to support them.

What is the Menopause Behavioral Health Certification Program?

The Menopause Behavioral Health Certification (MBH-C) Program helps professionals understand what is happening in both the body and mind during the menopause transition.

Participants gain a practical, evidence-based understanding of the hormonal, physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes that can emerge during perimenopause and menopause, and how these changes affect daily functioning and quality of life.

Through this training, professionals learn to recognize symptoms, conduct appropriate screening, support behavior change and emotional wellbeing, provide education, and work collaboratively within a team-based model of care—all within their scope of practice.

By increasing access to knowledgeable professionals across disciplines, we can help ensure that no one navigates the menopause transition without support.

  • "I'm incredibly passionate about helping to change how this season of life is viewed and to help women rediscover what they want this next chapter to look like. Having the MBH-C helps me do that with confidence."

    Marisa, Program Participant

  • "Similar to perinatal mental and physical health, perimenopause is another major reproductive transition that deserves more conversation and support."

    Lila, Program Participant

  • "This training teaches you all about mental and behavioral health in mid-life, but you also you get a master class in body."

    Danielle, Program Participant
