Mental health care for women, connected to the OB/GYN care you trust
Through Axia’s partnership with FamilyWell, you can access mental health care specialized for women. It's easy to get started and connected to the care you already receive. Services are covered by most insurance plans. Here’s what to expect and how to get started.
How does the program work?
Your mental health is an important part of your overall health. That’s why Axia has partnered with FamilyWell to bring mental health support designed for women easily accessible to the patients we serve. Your virtual FamilyWell team works alongside your Axia OB/GYN clinician, so your care feels connected and centered around you.
Your virtual FamilyWell team
Patient Navigator
Your go-to for scheduling, insurance, and questions. Available by text and keeps your FamilyWell and OB/GYN care connected.
Therapist
Most patients begin with an initial assessment with a licensed therapist. Based on your individual needs and goals, they may recommend ongoing therapy as part of your personalized care plan.
Psychiatric clinician
If medication is right for you, it may be prescribed by your OB/GYN with FamilyWell’s guidance or by a FamilyWell psychiatric clinician.

Depending on your insurance plan, you may have a copay or other out-of-pocket cost for sessions with your therapist or psychiatric clinician.
